Director/ Elementary Facilitator
Shalay Wiggins
Shalay Wiggins is the founder and director of In Bloom Academy, which she started with her husband, Ray, in 2019. Inspired by her journey parenting a child with AuDHD, she set out to create a school where personalized, student-centered learning is at the heart of everything.
Her vision has helped In Bloom Academy grow into a thriving community that has served hundreds of families, offering a nurturing, inclusive space for children to learn and grow.
Shalay is a certified tutor and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and she is currently continuing her education in Special Education to further support the diverse needs of her students. She remains deeply committed to empowering each child to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Assistant Director/ Middle School Facilitator
Gabriel Lange
As the middle school facilitator, Gabriel draws on personal experiences with ADHD to promote understanding and inclusivity. He creates engaging, tailored curriculums for each student,
leveraging a background in early childhood education and certification as a tutor.
In his free time, Gabriel enjoys playing D&D, board games, kayaking, and visiting theme parks.

Volunteer Aide
Ray Wiggins
Ray Wiggins, 58, graduated from Cocoa Beach High in 1984. He began a 30-year construction career at 19, learning from many mentors. After retiring at 56, Ray started working with his wife, Shalay, as her assistant, which has been rewarding and community-focused.
With experience raising their AUDHD son and attending neurodiversity seminars, Ray is excited to work with students at In Bloom Academy. He is also a certified tutor and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In his free time, Ray enjoys fishing and attending rock concerts.

High School Coordinator
Elly fannin
Elly Fannin brings dedication, heart, and hands-on STEM expertise to our high school program. With a B.S. in chemical engineering and a passion for science and gardening, she leads students in engaging, real-world learning that goes beyond the classroom.
As our High School Coordinator, Elly supports each student’s individual journey toward growth and success—both academically and personally. Her creative problem-solving and compassionate approach make her a vital part of our community.
When she’s not guiding young minds, Elly enjoys the outdoors with her family, leads a Scouting America Pack, and continues to nurture her love of gardening.

High School Facilitator
Caitlin Dooley
Caitlin Dooley has been working with students for 10 plus year, within public and private schools in North Brevard. She is invested in helping students to reach their goals and also to reach their potential. She is passionate about learning and reading. Caitlin received her associates degree from Eastern Florida State College in 2010. She is very excited to start this new year with her high school students as the delve into history and language arts!

Middle School Assistant Facilitator
Parker McBride
Parker McBride is an artist who specializes in acrylic painting and ink work. She teaches art 1, 2 and club where she works with every student to tailor each lesson to best fit their level of experience. She's passionate about bringing inclusivity, creativity, and an open mind into every class.
Focusing on the whole individual, Parker's favorite part about working with her students is helping them mold their unique voices, interests, and stories into beautiful art pieces. She strives to provide a welcoming environment where everyone can make art and feel safe to bring their authentic selves into the creation process. Being a mom herself, she enjoys connecting and working with kids of all ages. Outside of teaching, Parker fosters a love of nature, reading, spending time with family, and singing.

Lower Elementary Facilitator
Meg Maduex
Meg has had a lifelong passion for all things arts and crafts. From watching her mom run a jewelry business as a baby—sitting in her lap as she made earrings, bracelets, and necklaces—to learning crochet and sewing from her grandmother, creativity has always been a part of her world.
Her goal is to ensure every child has the tools, space, and encouragement to express themselves through creative and productive outlets. Meg believes that while some children may struggle to express themselves through words or actions, their art can reveal their truest selves.

Administrative Assistant
cindy whitten
Cindy Whitten is the Administrative Assistant at In Bloom Academy, supporting families daily while also managing the school’s social media.
With a background in Environmental Studies focused on Marine Biology, she has volunteered with UCF on oyster monitoring projects and brings over 12 years of experience as a certified pharmacy technician.
After homeschooling her own children, Cindy is excited to be part of a connected, student-centered community where families can grow and thrive together.

Awareness Coach
bob sima
Bob holds a BA in Psychology from University of Maryland. He also is an ordained Interfaith Minister (ADL), an awareness coach/spiritual counselor, breathwork and retreat facilitator, and recording artist. He has over 15 years of experience delivering consciousness raising music and experiential workshops across the country and abroad. His mastery of songwriting has led to the creation of an entire catalogue of music (10 albums) across 10 multiple genres. He has experience leading youth groups through the Southeast through Y.O.U. (Youth of Unity) and also taught at Golden Mean Academy, a home school in Maryland.

Curriculum Coordinator
Lee Cloum
Lee Cloum has been a Community Advocate for students with special needs for the past twenty years. Lee is a state of Florida Certified teacher with more than 20 years experience as an educator, in both public and private school. The experiences Lee brings to our program extend to curriculum creation, school administration, evaluation and instruction.
