Owner/ Assistant Elementary Facilitator
Ray Wiggins
Ray Wiggins, 58, graduated from Cocoa Beach High in 1984. He began a 30-year construction career at 19, learning from many mentors. After retiring at 56, Ray started working with his wife, Shalay, as her assistant, which has been rewarding and community-focused.
With experience raising their AUDHD son and attending neurodiversity seminars, Ray is excited to work with students at In Bloom Academy. He is also a certified tutor and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In his free time, Ray enjoys fishing and attending rock concerts.

Director/ Elementary Facilitator
Shalay Wiggins
​Shalay Wiggins is the director of In Bloom Academy, which she started with her husband, Ray, in 2019. Inspired by her own experience with her son, who has AuDHD, she recognized the need for personalized education after pulling him out of traditional schooling. Her vision has helped In Bloom Academy grow to serve over 50 families, providing a nurturing and supportive environment. As a certified tutor and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Shalay is dedicated to empowering students to thrive through tailored educational approaches.

Assistant Director/ Middle School Facilitator
Gabriel Lange
As the middle school facilitator, Gabriel draws on personal experiences with ADHD to promote understanding and inclusivity. He creates engaging, tailored curriculums for each student,
leveraging a background in early childhood education and certification as a tutor.
In his free time, Gabriel enjoys playing D&D, board games, kayaking, and visiting theme parks.

Assistant Middle School Facilitator
Jennifer Utter
Jennifer Utter is the middle school assistant at In Bloom Academy, where she has been dedicated to fostering student growth for the past two years. Trained alongside Shalay and Ray in the Elementary Room, she thrives on engaging with the inquisitive minds of middle schoolers while sharing insights about her native Brevard County. Her passion for teaching and connection enriches the classroom experience.

High School Facilitator
Brad Deason
With over 20 years of experience in education, Brad Deason has taught at every level from elementary to university. As a High School Facilitator, Brad is dedicated to guiding students in discovering answers for themselves, encouraging independent thinking and problem-solving. Outside the classroom, Brad enjoys music, playing golf, and traveling with his family.

Primary School Facilitator
Bridget LaPage
Bridget LaPage is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables every child to thrive. With experience in case management for individuals with intellectual disabilities and wilderness programs for at-risk youth, she is deeply passionate about promoting personal growth. Bridget values community, integrity, and ongoing development. Outside of her work, she enjoys exploring nature, reading, sewing, traveling, and sharing music. As a proud mom, she is committed to cultivating spaces where everyone can succeed.

Assistant Primary School Facilitator
Ashley King
Ashley King is an assistant facilitator at In Bloom Academy, where she brings her passion for education and connection to her role. After transitioning from a successful career in hospitality, Ashley sought a more fulfilling path, motivated by her own experiences as a neurodivergent individual and mother of three. She connects with students on a personal level, particularly in working with primary grades, where she focuses on supporting social-emotional learning (SEL) needs throughout the day. Ashley is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.​

Curriculum Coordinator
Lee Cloum
Lee Cloum has been a Community Advocate for students with special needs for the past twenty years. Lee is a state of Florida Certified teacher with more than 20 years experience as an educator, in both public and private school. The experiences Lee brings to our program extend to curriculum creation, school administration, evaluation and instruction.
